POSOLOGY:

For attacks of summer dermatitis, apply the lotion to the base of the mane or tail, directly on the irritated skin, and massage gently. Monitor your horse's reactions and reapply when necessary, depending on how long itching takes to reappear, generally between 4 and 10 days.

In winter, scratching can be caused by a variety of factors such as lice, feeding problems, gastrointestinal disorders, contact allergies, or stress. Derfen™ Clear Lotion helps calm itching, but it's essential to investigate and treat the underlying cause.

For lice infestations, contact your vet for appropriate treatment. Derfen™ Clear Lotion soothes itching but is not intended for daily or preventative use.
